About the Job
Weichert Workforce Mobility is hiring an Account Coordinator in Parsippany, NJ. This is a hybrid position requiring two in office days. The Account Coordinator is responsible for securing payment by verifying and posting payables. The position ensures information is posted accurately and resolves simple discrepancies, as needed.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Posts vendor payments by recording checks and credit card payments.
- Posts expenses by verifying and entering transactions.
- Updates payables by totaling paid invoices.
- Timely opening and sorting of incoming mail.
- Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information.
- Resolves valid or authorized payments by entering adjusting entries.
- Resolves and posts sales tax payments to appropriate accounts.
- Monitoring the team’s shared mailboxes.
- Handle vendor set up.
- Summarizes payables by maintaining daily payable check register accounts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Zero (0) to one (1) year of experience
- Experience using OSCAR preferred
- Knowledge of OSCAR preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
- Good oral and written communications skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions
- Strong attention to detail
