As an Account Director at We Are BMF, you will build, execute and scale cross-functional programs or integrated marketing campaigns while also leading cross disciplinary teams. You are a proven collaborator who is solution and detail oriented. You are an incredibly self-motivated, high energy individual who can function in a high demand, performance driven environment. Travel/Hospitiality and Fashion experience are a must!
You will cultivate and maintain working relationships with new and existing clients across the agency within North America. Headquartered in Miami or New York you will guide clients in planning and goal setting, working with a team to deliver a strategic framework, narrative, while also being accountable for the fulfillment of all project deliverables across a client campaign/program from start to finish
People skills are a must as maintaining strong, strategic, and transparent relationships with clients and partners, while also supervising, training and inspiring talented, high-performing junior-level employees within your team towards professional growth and success.
What you will do…
Client Relationship Management:
- Manage day-to-day client relationships while also building and improving those relationships with key objectives of increasing We Are BMF profitability, delivering on clients goals, while also spearheading best practices and organic growth
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
- Maintain proper customer service etiquette in order to endear clients to our integrated services
- Collaborate with We Are BMF sales and marketing teams to implement client action plans for the delivery of high quality client services
Ideation & Strategy:
- Guide the development of strategic thinking and recommendations to clients ensuring strategies are grounded in audience insights and go-to-market priorities, goals, and objectives, and that deliver on an integrated and strategic approach involving multi-channel activation elements/promotion driving strong, quantifiable KPI’s.
- Support cross disciplinary departments in the strategy / creative development and planning and bring to life the most effective and interesting experiences for top-tier brands and brands on the horizon
- Participates in creation of integrated buzz-worthy and award-winning programs crossing each of our agency disciplines: Business Development, Creative, Earned (Public Relations), Engagement (Social, Digital, & Talent Relations), Experience & Production, and Strategy
- Create and oversee creation of client decks, presentations and strategy / program overview documents, participate in crafting pitch and presenting to clients
Account & Project Management:
- Handling day-to-day clients needs and providing necessary information to all internal and external teams (i.e. production, design, talent, agencies, etc.).
- Leading all Internal and Client status and project meetings / calls
- Supervise the compilation and management of all relevant materials for weekly reports, activation decks, post-event case studies/recaps, required client follow-up, and integrated project / campaign status documents. Working hand-in-hand with creative and strategy teams to ensure all project elements are executed as needed and delivered on time.
Leadership:
- Supervise, train and inspire talented, high-performing client services direct reports and cross disciplinary project teams.
- Contributes to building a team environment that facilitates: mutual respect and partnership across functions; strategic thinking; appropriate risk taking; open lines of communication between team members, on-going performance feedback, professional development, and adherence to agency policy.
- Comfortable with “hands-on” management of tasks, and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
Administrative:
Supervising and managing company and department policies that relate to client satisfaction standards and ensuring that all project teams are following those standards
Supervising and managing client accounts by communicating with We Are BMF Partners / Senior Leadership to track client and vertical goals, reviewing client performance, and making adjustments as needed
Corporate Expense Report And Coding
The salary range for this role is $90,000-$115,000 and is based on experience, responsibilities of the position, subject matter expertise and is location specific.
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of proven experience in media relations in a range of consumer industries
- Travel/Hospitiality and Fashion experience are a must!
- Innovative, creative thinking skills to ensure the organization is providing a cutting edge client experience
- Superior problem-solving aptitude and the ability to make sound judgment calls
- Superior organizational and time management skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets

- Ability to work well with an integrated team
- Reliable and self motivated
