Alera Group is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join their Employee Benefits team.

The role involves managing a book of 40-50 clients (20-99 lives), serving as the day-to-day contact for the Team Lead, and overseeing key processes like Recap, Quarterlies, Pre-Renewal, RFP, and Open Enrollment. Additionally, the role includes conducting virtual open enrollment meetings for clients when necessary.
- Manage the implementation process for new clients, including sending BORs to carriers and gathering historical client data.
- Compile client data for Renewal Recap, Quarterlies, RFPs, and Renewal Strategy Presentations; release and follow up on RFPs and organize carrier quotes.
- Use spreadsheet templates or technology platforms to log quoted benefits and rates, preparing final rate confirmation for Producer review.
- Handle escalated service issues related to eligibility, claims, billing, and policy, and coordinate with Team Lead/Producer to set service schedules.
- Oversee open enrollment meetings, monitor completion, manage carrier installation, and send final SBCs, rates, and compensation details to vendors.
- Manage compliance tasks, such as sending carrier termination letters, tracking documents (PCORI, 1095, etc.), and performing special projects like eligibility audits and health fairs.
- Hold a Life & Health License with a Bachelor's degree and a steady work history, demonstrating commitment to starting a new career.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to build rapport with clients in person and over the phone.
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, self-motivated approach to working in a fast-paced environment.
- Have extensive experience using CRM platforms and MS Office, along with reliable transportation for punctuality to meetings and appointments.
