The Role & You
Latino Media Network is seeking a seasoned multimedia executive and business developer who is also savvy with Social media and digital to identify, develop and cultivate qualified new business clients, generate revenue and drive business growth. The successful candidate will be strategic, assertive, self-starter, to go after direct clients and agency accounts in the Los Angeles market (must live locally). This role is a great opportunity for an account executive who is looking to develop and grow within a rapidly scaling start-up environment.
Reporting to the future General Manager in California, you will be responsible for radio / digital business development through prospecting, cold calling, networking, the use of co-op, and vendor development.

Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, identify potential clients, develop, and expand a new account list
- Generate business development and qualify leads
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new clients.
- Ability to thrive in autonomous working environment with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity, meeting deadlines, and showing relentless persistence in a competitive marketplace
- Contact and present to clients and agencies, negotiate contracts and monitor collections
- Decide on presentation storyline, positioning, and selling LMN integrated value proposition
- Meet and exceed individual weekly and monthly activity and sales targets and revenue goals
- Attend promotional events and other client networking events
- Work in partnership with support team on pre-sale processes; prepare drafts of presentations and proposals
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts.
- Other duties as deemed necessary
You Have These
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of media / radio ad sales experience
- Must be highly motivated, assertive, creative, and proactive
- Strong business development and presentation skills.
- Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed targets.
- Must have excellent client relations skills
- Working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
- Must be able to drive and have a valid CA driver’s license with a good driving record
We’d Love If You Also Have These
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the media, audio or advertising industry.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with online/social media platforms
- Knowledge of Matrix, Nielsen Audio, Tapscan and Wide Orbit
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be willing to live in Los Angeles, CA
- Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Compensation
An employee’s pay will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
