Position Summary
Reporting to the Chief Client Officer, Pharmacy Solutions, this individual is responsible for providing advanced customer service representation and strategic planning for large pharmacy only accounts. The individual contributes to the service and retention of assigned pharmacy clients via group administrators, agents, brokers, and consultants. This is a FT hybrid position based in Portland, Oregon.
Pay Range
$67,822.12 - $84,786.17 annually (depending on experience)
*Actual pay is based on qualifications. Applicants who do not exceed the minimum qualifications will only be eligible for the low end of the pay range.

Required Skills, Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or 5+ years of sales, marketing, pharmacy and/or health insurance industry or account management experience. Demonstrated experience in pharmacy benefit management, health insurance and/or marketing, sales, underwriting or math.
- Demonstrated verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong project management and organization skills.
- Proven statistical, analytical, problem solving, organizational, and detail orientation skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and Windows NT.
- Self-starter with excellent team working skills
- The ability to deal effectively with a variety of individuals and groups related to the provision of services designed to retain existing accounts.
- Presents a positive and professional image in the communities we serve.
- Ability to work well under pressure; work with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Maintain a current Oregon and Washington Health Insurance license.
- Ability to handle a pushcart/hand truck and be able to lift boxes up to 40 pounds in and out of a car trunk.
Primary Functions:
- Provides strategic planning and account management for large accounts.
- Responsible for the ongoing service of assigned large accounts. Makes routine account visits to include regular meetings and support calls with accounts and/or agents and consultants.
- Provides both on-site and off-site account service, which may include interpreting plan design, researching and resolving phone and written inquiries with appropriate departments, resolving claims, benefit, and enrollment issues and participating in strategic planning with the account.
- In collaboration with the Account Executive Team Lead and pharmacy management, schedules, coordinates and participates/leads annual cost and utilization reviews with large accounts and coordinates with the clinical program manager on clinical proposals, recommendations and initiatives.
- Maintains ongoing account relationships at multiple levels throughout the customers' organizations.
- Responsible for coordinating and reviewing of specific accounts reporting and performance guarantees, monthly, quarterly, and annually performance measurements and ensuring delivery to account or consultant/agent in appropriate timeframe.
- Directs and manages the administration of contractual requirements and obligations, including review and analysis of contract provisions, coordinating renewal proposals and restatements, and pharmacy program funding calculations.
- Manages the new and renewal implementation process for accounts. Prepares and presents renewal proposals to account or agent/consultant.
- Coordinates benefit design changes, annual enrollment meetings, design and development of literature, and coordination of new ID cards and communication materials brochures. Makes recommendations for improvements to meet customers' expectations.
- Coordinates open enrollment meetings, renewal process and training sessions. Participates in these events as required by the customer.
- Assists Sales Manager (Pharmacy) and Moda proposal team with the Request For Proposal (RFP) process for select groups, as required. This may include analyzing for appropriate benefit design and funding arrangements, reviewing the RFP response, and ensuring professional packaging and deadlines are met. Assists with follow up questions from agents and/or prospective accounts, attends and participates in final sales presentations, as requested.
- Directs and coordinates the transition of select groups including designing and developing non-standard literature, enrollment applications, member guides, Q & A’s, and other special marketing materials. Coordinates enrollment presentation to employees with agent and/or account.
- Represents Moda Health Plans and/or ArrayRx, conducting the presentation of employee benefit package. Schedules and lead internal transition/planning meetings, ensures account transitions to Moda Health Plans is smooth and efficient.
- Coordinate with external vendor partners – including ArrayRx, Navitus, Ardon Health, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions & Contact with Others
- Work environment is primarily in the office or home office and includes extensive close PC and keyboard work, sitting for long intervals, and continual phone work. Must be able to multitask and navigate multiple computer screens. Position is expected to require limited travel for appointments, meetings, and social events Occasional overnight stays (20-30% of time). Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week on occasion, including evenings and occasional weekends, to meet business need.
- Internally within Pharmacy Enterprise, multiple Moda departments and levels of staff. Externally with Accounts, Business Partners, Consultants and Agents, Brokers.
