The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for the provision and evaluation of service information related to
admissions. The Account Executive’s primary function is to develop appropriate referrals through the selection,
acquisition, retention and growth of business partnerships with referral sources.

- Catalog and maintain records on all relevant contacts and influencers of referrals in an assigned territory.
- Assess patient referrals to facilitate the admission process between the discharging hospital and the receiving Santé entity.
- Provide education to prospective referral source, patients and family members on company services, explain what to expect and answer any other questions about the referral, care delivery and discharge processes.
- Initiate and pursue networking activity where synergies may exist with other providers in the post-acute industry such as home health agencies, and other inpatient providers.
- Call on physician offices to educate the physician about the company’s services with the goal of obtaining referrals for appropriate patients.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Valid driver's license with maintenance of safe driving record and an automobile that is insured in accordance with state requirements.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with sales and marketing required.
- Basic clinical assessment skills preferred.
- Knowledge of reimbursement systems, managed care and commercial healthcare contracts, and admissions process.
- Knowledge and understanding of Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
