Job Title: Account Executive - Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion, and Fire Alarm Sales Representative
Location: DC, MD, VA regions
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced, career-oriented individual with exceptional leadership skills to join our team as a Low Voltage Systems Sales Representative.
Core Accountabilities:
- Sell commercial, integrated low voltage systems solutions, including communication infrastructure (voice, video, and data), fire, sound, security, access control, and CCTV.
- Work closely with customers to provide the best possible solutions for their immediate and future needs.
- Maintain high standards of performance and conduct at all times.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prior experience in selling low voltage commercial systems.
- Maintain and archive proposals and bids for future actions.
- Attend site surveys to determine requirements for selling and installing jobs.
- Assist customers with technical and installation issues.
- Maintain solid working relationships with established accounts.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within low voltage product lines and construction.
- Strong technical background through electronics and communication training is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office is essential.
- Knowledge of installation practices and construction procedures is a plus.
- Knowledge of state, local, and industry standards involving low voltage wiring, fire alarm sprinkler, and device installation.
- Valid driver’s license and transportation required.
- Ability to obtain Maryland Security Systems Sales and VA DCJS licenses.
- Mobility required for site surveys and job site inspections.
- Positive and respectful attitude to maintain good working relationships with management, staff, employees, vendors, and customers.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and the ability to prioritize workload.
Education and Experience:
- Experience in sound, low voltage wiring, fire-alarm, life safety, construction, or electrical background is a plus.
- Strong outside sales background is essential.
