Overview
hackajob launched in North America in May 2022, and we are looking to hire a new Account Executive to be part of a small team who are looking to have maximum impact.
You will play an instrumental role in our success as a business as you will be the driving force behind our revenue growth by being laser-focused on customer relationship building and winning new business. You will be responsible for working closely with our 3 person strong SDR team to generate qualified leads with senior decision-makers, and then converting these opportunities into new business deals.

Responsibilities
- Identify New Business Opportunities with companies who are an ideal profile for our Enterprise Technical Recruitment Solution. Partnering with SDRs where appropriate.
- Develop these leads into qualified opportunities each month via a multi-channel approach of phone calls, emails, video, and LinkedIn.
- Work closely with our marketing team to nurture and convert whitepaper leads, as well as feedback on campaigns to optimise our lead generation and customer relationship building processes.
- Convert leads through strategic questioning, active listening and consultative discovery to uncover potential customer pain points and gaps in their current workflow and hiring strategies.
- Take ownership of your customer relationship building and conversion through the sales cycle, using strong CRM hygiene to keep records up to date.
- Run and own rigorous and efficient sales processes with Enterprise customers.
A bit about you:
- Knowledge of Talent Acquisition/Recruitment is essential.
- A passion and proven ability to sell to companies.
- Comfortable and confident with Business Development, and is willing to do it. For example; initiating cold phone conversations, navigating questions, and overcoming objections.
- Well organised and highly disciplined with the day to day sales activities that fill a Sales pipeline.
- Self-starter who takes the initiative, confident with owning responsibilities, and experienced in seeing projects through from end to end.
- Excellent communication by phone and email.
- Coachable and open to feedback, embracing every opportunity to continually improve performance.
- Proficiency using enterprise-grade sales CRM, such as Salesforce.
