About the Job
Mitiga is seeking a highly experienced and driven Account Executive to join our team in the US. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving Mitiga's growth by managing and expanding our presence across the US market. As an AE, you will take ownership of strategic sales initiatives and lead the full sales cycle for both mid-market and enterprise accounts, with a specific focus on cloud and SaaS security solutions. You will also work closely with Mitiga’s founders and core leadership team, playing a key role in shaping the company’s future growth and strategy.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to grow the pipeline and drive revenue across the US territory.
- Identify, engage, and build relationships with key decision-makers such as CISOs, security leaders, and security operations teams through both inbound and outbound activities.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for prospective clients.
- Navigate complex sales cycles with a focus on consultative and solution-based selling, positioning Mitiga’s value proposition effectively to address customer pain points.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their business needs, challenges, and objectives, and delivering tailored solutions based on Mitiga’s platform and services.
- Collaborate closely with Mitiga’s founders and core team to align sales efforts with overall company strategy and contribute to long-term growth.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
Some More Details and Perks:
For this position, the estimated base salary is between $140k- $160k with this being just one aspect of the overall compensation package. This will include commission, equity grants, and generous benefits.

Requirements:
Who You Are:
- A seasoned sales professional with 5+ years of experience in the cybersecurity industry and a strong track record of success selling to CISOs, cybersecurity executives, and heads of security operations.
- Proven experience working in sales at early-stage startups (Seed to Series A), with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in high-growth environments.
- Demonstrated success managing both mid-market and enterprise sales cycles, with the ability to navigate complex buying processes and engage multiple stakeholders.
- A hunter mentality with strong prospecting skills and a track record of generating leads in greenfield territories.
- Able to articulate technical concepts and map them to business outcomes, clearly demonstrating the value of Mitiga’s cloud and SaaS security solutions in a consultative sales manner.
- Experienced in selling SaaS and cloud security solutions, with a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, market trends, and buyer personas.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage and influence senior executives.
- Highly organized and data-driven, with strong pipeline management skills and a clear understanding of sales processes.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth, start-up environment with an adaptable mindset.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with detection, investigation, and response (TDIR) solutions and familiarity with security operations tools and services.
- A network of established relationships within the US cybersecurity space, particularly with security executives and decision-makers.
