The Account Management Director is responsible for developing a scalable account management function and leading project implementation of key national Value Based Care (VBC) agreement(s), and actively managing relationships upon go-live. The Account Management Director works with both internal SME’s as well as external stakeholders. Upon effective implementation, this position will collaborate with regional leadership to ensure contract terms are adhered to, increase patient engagement, uphold all clinical/quality measures, and demonstrate ROI throughout the term of the agreement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in the development of a scalable and replicable account management function and organizational structure
- Coordinates multiple, simultaneous go-to market (GTM) business and operation launches with national/regional premier partners
- Partners with shared technical and business resources to effectively deliver and support solutions
- Manages multi-functional workgroups, ensuring deliverables including timeliness, quality, and customer expectations are met
- Oversees and manages the implementation of Performance Guarantees
- Establishes and produce standardized reporting package and dashboards
- Manages clientele of various risk-bearing types (ex. Health plans, ACO’s, IPA’s, etc.)
- Manages client input and feedback for all projects with detailed direction and timelines
- Establish and build strong working relationships with business leaders at all levels
- Manages day-to-day client communication and ongoing relationships as it relates to current, new and upcoming projects
- As necessary, visits clients, in which to accelerate expansion, build rapport, or course correct
- Proactively remains connected to clients and the ever-changing market to access new search opportunities and ensure all viable clients are engaged on a regular and effective basis
- Negotiates, especially as it pertains to term renewals, cross-selling, and any additional product add-on’s
Required Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications
- Seven years of experience in account management, project management, sales, marketing and/or public relations
- Seven years of experience in the health care field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to develop effective lines of communication with all levels of staff
- Strong organization, time management, problem solving skills and the ability to appropriately represent company service
- Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple, complex projects and delivering on project objectives and deadlines as required
- Self-motivated and results driven
- Ability to work independently
- Strong presentation skills
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field
- Well versed in standard business operating systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
