General Summary:
Develops new business opportunities and nurtures existing business relationships to gain additional business within a specific account list of a geographical location.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develops new customer accounts.
2. Penetrates existing customer accounts and build relationships within organization.
3. Responsible for commercial issues, internal to customer and McNaughton-McKay.
4. Participates in personal growth plan activities.
5. Focuses on account planning/top key accounts/facilities.
6. Participates in overall product training with key vendors and partners.
7. Implements best practices.
8. Engages other resources within McNaughton-McKay.
9. Creates, implements and revises procedures and instructions.
10. Supports the quality, product and sales initiatives set forth by the Region.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
1. Bachelor’s degree preferred; engineering experience desired. 4+ years of sales experience considered in lieu of education.
2. Three years’ electrical experience, including two years inside sales, engineering, or sales experience.
3. High degree of knowledge of electrical distribution operations and/or similar product knowledge.
4. Proven sales and customer service skills.
5. Ability to determine customers’ needs and provide better than expected customer service.
6. Intermediate PC skills with MS Office products required.

Reports To: Sales Manager or equivalent
