Sunland Specialty Insurance Group is an independent insurance agency seeking an Account Manager/Customer Service Representative. We are seeking someone with a strong background in commercial lines. This is a unique opportunity for someone to join our team who is flexible, resourceful, possesses technical knowledge and willingness to do what is necessary to get the job done! We are a close-knit team looking to build on an established book of business. Personal lines experience is a plus!
Salary Range: $40000.00 - $75000.00 per year

Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by handling the day-to-day account management responsibilities such as billing, policy changes, agency management system updates, claims, etc.
- Determine appropriate client service support for new and existing clients to building effective relationships and drive retention; promptly respond to client and carrier inquiries, maintain, and enhance the agencys relationships with existing clients by executing proactive and ongoing contact initiatives
- Issue endorsements, certificates, and evidence of property, which may include review of contracts and special certificate/coverage requests for compliance
- Use specific industry training and knowledge to determine the needs of the client and identify cross-selling opportunities; expand/round-out existing accounts by identifying potential gaps in coverage, recommending, and implementing proper coverage
- Quality check and thorough review of all policies and endorsements received from insurance carriers
- Timely and accurately manage the renewal process by reviewing upcoming expiring accounts and obtaining information from clients to ensure timely renewal of all policies
- Participate in seminars, training, and continuing education sessions to maintain required licenses and for knowledge, skill, and development
Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty Agent/Producer License required
- 3-5 years Independent Agency Experience required
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and other software applications such as PDF editing software, Docusign, Epay and Zoom
- Must be a self starter who is able to work independently but also as part of a team
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Proficient in agency management software-EPIC a plus
- College degree preferred
