Allegiance Group is looking for an Account Manager to support our direct response / direct mail / digital marketing and fundraising clients.
We’re seeking a well-rounded multi-channel, customer-service oriented individual to manage an existing portfolio of nonprofit clients. This role supports client strategy, as well as motivates team members to meet deadlines, while keeping track of all of the details.
- Handle day-to-day communication with assigned account teams, including preparing for and conducting meetings and check-ins, documenting notes, identifying priority tasks, communicating follow-ups, etc.
- Manage project resourcing for internal teams, project budgets, project plans, and campaign schedules.
- Plans and manages client workflow throughout the agency from project initiation to project completion.
- Facilitates internal communication and ensures all cross-functional team members understand project parameters and scope of work.
- Keeps team members informed of project developments and issues via regular status meetings and published status reports.
- Proactively identifies and formulates solutions to potential project challenges.
- Organizes all project documentation including strategy briefs, roadmaps, data, production, creative and printed samples.
- Contributes to the development of quality, innovative and creative ideas.
- Leads highly productive meetings internally and with the client.
- Demonstrates a passion for and knowledge of the industry.
- Establishes and maintains strong relationships between all departments.
- Provides clear direction/constructive feedback to all departments.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
The ideal candidate will have:
- Prior or current agency experience.
- 4+ years hands on experience in direct-response fundraising and marketing.
- Experience with direct mail.
- Experience with digital marketing, including email or web projects is a plus.
- Experience or willingness to work on faith-based accounts.
- An understanding of the nonprofit sector and fundraising.
- Experience managing projects and accounts to include budget and timeline management. An extreme attention to detail with ability to keep yourself and your team members on track, and an effortless customer service focus when collaborating with internal teams and clients.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities at once, including client portfolio, client projects, etc.
- Ability to take direction from senior team members.
- Proactive communication style.
