Milpower Source, Inc. is an industry leader in the design and manufacture of power conversion and rugged networking solutions for the defense and aerospace markets. We work closely with the industry’s leading OEMs, integrators, and subsystem developers, including Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Northrop Grumman, and L3Harris, among others. Our products include DC/DC converters, DC/AC inverters, solid state power distribution devices, generator controllers, VPX form factor solutions, and shipboard battery backup solutions(UPS). Our networking solutions include rugged ethernet switches (1G,10G,100G), routers, media converters, terminal servers, and USB hubs.
Milpower Source is looking for an Account Manager to support, develop, and grow strategic accounts in the Eastern-US Region. This is a remote position. The ideal candidate is action-oriented, self-starter that possesses the ability to connect with customers to understand their technical needs. In this role, you will be responsible for driving top-line growth by identifying and winning new business opportunities within strategic accounts. You will work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement innovative sales strategies tailored to customer needs and foster long-term strategic partnerships. This position reports to the Regional Business Manager, who oversees sales activities in the Eastern Region. Other team members work out of the NH sales office or work from remote locations throughout the U.S.
Job Description:
The Account Manager will help develop and implement the territory’s sales strategy and action plan to help achieve the company’s desired annual bookings and revenue objectives. This will include:
· Identify, engage, and build relationships with key decision makers in pre-defined accounts within the territory.
· Identify and pursue sales leads with customers within the territory. This includes tier 2 and tier 3 accounts outside of strategic accounts
· Quickly understand key opportunity details and consult with team members to define a capture strategy
· Present and demonstrate the capabilities and benefits of our solutions, tailoring presentations to specific customer needs and program requirements
· Understand and document funded programs, new pursuits, and capture strategy in partnership with the Milpower Source Business Development team and Regional Business Manager.
· Execute the tactical sales activities defined by the Regional Business Manager
· Partner with the Inside Sales Specialists to ensure on time delivery of quotations, specifications, and other requests of the customer
· Maintains an accurate and updated log of all programs, opportunities, personnel, and customers/end-users within our CRM.
· Provide the customer with periodic status reports, as required.
Requirements:
·
- 2-4 years of sales/account management experience.
- 1-2 years' experience in defense and/or aerospace industry is a plus
- Highly developed & demonstrated teamwork skills and experience working remotely.
- Bachelor's degree in business or engineering. Other degrees or related work experience will certainly be considered
- Power conversion solutions, military electronics, or networking experience is preferred.
- Extraordinary communication skills, illustrating proficiency in both verbal and written communications in English
- Exemplify a high degree of personal integrity, ethics, and interpersonal skills and abilities.
- Ability to work in a multinational, multi-cultural corporation
- Willingness to learn and convey technical details of our solutions
- SalesForce or CRM experience is a plus.
