Account Manager - Electrical and Generator Services - Star Service of Houston

Star Service, A Fidelity Company, is looking for an Account Manager to join our Electrical / Generator Services team in Houston, TX!

As the leading HVAC service provider throughout the entire Gulf Coast, from Texas to Florida, Star Service is committed to providing excellent Service, Maintenance, and Design-Build Replacements of air conditioning systems in commercial and industrial facilities.

As an Account Manager, your primary responsibilities would be:

• Driving sales of generators and Electrical Services to commercial, industrial, and municipal clients.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Presenting and demonstrating products to potential customers.
• Staying informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
• Drafting detailed and professional proposals for potential clients.
• Ensuring proposals comply with area codes and municipality regulations.
• Managing relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
• Managing your use and data integrity of our CRM software
• Participating in industry tradeshows, networking engagements and other industry events
• Perform job costing and project estimating to ensure accurate pricing and profitability.
• Preparing and submitting bids for projects to contractors and other stakeholders.

As an Account Manager, you should have the following qualifications:

• High school diploma, or equivalent
• The ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
• 2-5 years of power systems equipment sales experience or related sales experience
• Technical background in generators, engines, and related components
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills with a solid work ethic
• The ability to identify and exceed customer expectations while managing a high volume of work in a dynamic fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency in performing duties
