Position Summary:
We have the ideal opportunity for an Account Manager located in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or the surrounding area, who will develop and execute campaigns for generating and driving new business, as well as maintaining and developing relationships for transportation agencies.
The North American Transportation Team is a diverse team of sales professionals through the United States and Canada. Our team works closely with State Department of Transportations, Ministries of Transportation, Class I and II Rail Organization, Transit Agencies and local state government groups to support safe and swift movement of goods and people. Your Day-to-Day:
As an Account Manager for transportation agencies, you will work with an Account team led by the Account Director to execute a strategic account plan to advance transportation in the state using our innovative software solutions. Your day to day includes but is not limited to:
+ Prospect and close new business opportunities within assigned territory using the Strategic Account Plan, the Bentley Sales Process and meeting with assigned end-users to develop and maintain the relationships at various levels to meet annual revenue goals.
+ Develop important and effective relationships with Key Executives by translating customer challenges and opportunities into unique business value.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solid business proposals mapping User Objectives to Bentley's worldclass infrastructure engineering solutions
+ Collaborate on an Account Plan and ensure execution upon the plan by all parties, including aligning and influencing all relevant parties within the account(s) and Bentley organization.
+ Execute sales through Bentley's Sales Process using the CRM to document progress towards closing opportunities
+ Prepare sales reports in CRM on various aspects of sales activities in the territory assigned to include such things as: forecasts, sales data, etc.
+ Participate in sales events such as: trade shows, product demonstration seminars, user specific technical demonstrations, etc.
+ Maintain a high knowledge level of the company's products and services, as well as knowledge on the particular Industry workflows, business drivers, and major players.
What You Bring to The Team:
+ Minimum of 5 years proven experience in selling enterprise software solutions, experience selling to transportation or public sector preferred.
+ An exceptional track record of quarterly and annual over quota performances.
+ Knowledge of BIM is required and ideally with a background in Transportation.
+ Referenceable experience and knowledge of operating at an executive level with accounts.
+ PC literacy with appropriate MS Office applications proficiency.
+ Excellent written and oral communication as well as strong presentation skills.
+ Proficiency with company products portfolio at a business level.
+ Very well disciplined and organized with a high level of personal integrity.
+ Self-motivating “can-do”-attitude.
+ This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week.
+ Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements (https://www.bls.gov/ors/factsheet/visual-overview-of-physical-demands.htm) ). The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person (on occasion), and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling, and meeting functions.
+ This role requires travel up to 40%.
