Account Manager
Location: Fully Remote; Portland, OR, San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego, and Boston metro areas preferred.
Drug Hunter, a global leader in information services for preclinical drug discovery, is looking for an ambitious and driven Account Manager.
As a key supporting member of Drug Hunter's Commercial team, you'll work alongside seasoned sales and business development leaders, including the CEO, to identify, qualify, develop, onboard, and nurture new business, playing a crucial role in driving net revenue growth by fostering the acquisition, growth, and retention of our corporate accounts in the biotech, pharma, non-profit, and investment communities.
Your customer base will include scientists, management, and senior executives. You will work closely with Drug Hunter's scientists, senior managers, and other commercial team members.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Commercial team with prospecting, lead qualification, nurturing, quote generation, CRM management, customer support, procurement, customer onboarding and other post-sale activities
- Manage team engagements with assigned accounts to achieve company goals
- Develop and maintain outstanding account relationships through effective communication, education, reporting, and support
- Provide product feedback and commercial intelligence from clients to the rest of the Drug Hunter team for continuous product and process improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree; degree in chemistry, biology, or a related life science preferred though not required.
- Two+ years of relevant account management or customer success work experience
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, time-management, and organizational skills, with the ability to operate well in a fast-paced growth environment
Compensation:
Drug Hunter takes a market-based approach to pay. The candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, interview performance, and work location. For this role the base salary range is $55k-$70k/yr. However, because this role is eligible to participate in Drug Hunter's uncapped variable compensation plan, it is likely for employees in this role to receive total on-target earnings of $77k-$100k.
