Position
- The firm needs an experienced inside sales professional to maintain and grow a nationwide existing customer base
- This person will be calling on a variety of customer personnel, including R&D, operations, procurement and supply chain
- This person will be responsible for the marketing and sale of specialty chemicals to existing and prospective accounts in the coatings, adhesives, sealant, and elastomer (CASE) industry
- Owns and sets account plans/goals/priorities for customers, both short and long-term
- Manages and owns the overall account relationship with customers and is the “face” of the firm to the customer
- After the new sales representative is onboarded, it's possible the employee could work from home up to two days a week
Qualifications
- Two or more years of industrial sales experience is required
- Specialty chemical distribution sales experience is highly preferred
- A four-year bachelor's degree is preferred (chemical engineering or chemistry degrees are highly preferred)
- The company greatly values intellectual curiosity
- Strong interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
