We are looking for an Account Manager to operate as a primary point of contact for agency users and our partner SOW vendors, ensuring the delivery of services for fixed price, deliverable-based, and/or time-and-materials projects via one of CAI's CWS contracts. This position will be full-time and hybrid.
What You'll Do
Act as the primary point of contact for both agency users and vendors specific to the CWS SOW programs, delivering exceptional service and managing expectations
Facilitate all procurement activities throughout SOW lifecycle (pre-bid calls, vendor Q&A, vendor orals, negotiations, on-boarding tasks, etc.)
Maintain and configure the Vendor Management System to support workflow processes and enhance functionality
Ensure strict compliance with SOW lifecycle processes by both agency users and SOW vendors
Design and implement comprehensive transformation strategies to streamline and improve CWS SOW processes for efficiency and effectiveness
Monitor and manage the invoicing and payment processes to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions
Collaborate with client and vendor staff, fostering strong relationships and clear communication
Monitor service delivery against contractual milestone obligations; assist with change orders when necessary, and ensure timely invoicing of milestones
Create, maintain, and deliver reports to both internal and client users reflecting the status of the steps in the SOW lifecycle - from release to execution to closeout
Create and maintain Standard Operation Procedure documents for the SOW process for each client
Resolve issues in a timely manner
Provide VMS (Vendor Management System) training and daily support to the client specific to the SOW programs
Provide vendor response management, training, and performance oversight services specific to the SOW programs
Manage SOW services to contractual service level agreements (SLAs)
What You'll Need
Required:
10+ years of experience in contract/vendor management
10+ years of direct interfacing experience with client and vendor staff
10+ years of experience working within a Contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) program
Experience successfully transforming business processes to enhance efficiency, boost productivity, and drive innovation
Expertise in Business Intelligence and report writing
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders
Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset focused on process improvement
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
Proficiency in using Vendor Management Systems and other related software
Experience with VectorVMS is preferred but experience with other VMS systems is a plus
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
