Who we’re looking for:
The Account Manager, LTCp will provide unparalleled support of MHA’s Long Term Care Pharmacy Members by providing, developing strong relationships with the members in their territory, by providing competitive contracts, as well interactive Quarterly Business Reviews all designed to help our members leverage efficiency and cost savings.
The primary responsibility of the Account Manager is to support members within their territory by conducting sales and customer service activities. You will also sell and provide support of pharmaceuticals, medical/surgical supplies (“MPS”), business products and services (“BPS”) and capital equipment within long term care pharmacy provider accounts, in accordance with agreed business plans. Will also be responsible for working with our Network Team for customer reimbursement issues.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Plan and carry out internal sales and customer service activities via email and phone calls
- Provide direct client support and foster relationships with various contacts within the pharmacy.
- Provide proactive Data Analytics to identify, track, quantify and present member business trends and contract opportunities through Monthly Touch Base or individual interactions and or reports.
- Create sales opportunities for MHA products and services to long-term care providers for MHA contracts.
- Respond to and follow up on calls and emails from member pharmacies.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- BS/BA degree required.
- 1-3 years account management experience and or customer service experience, preferably in healthcare, with demonstrated past sales achievements in support of quota attainment and customer retention.
- Ability to manage a territory and coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints.
- Possess excellent organization and time management skills with ability to prioritize work and function independently and within a team environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel (Pivot Tables, V-lookup), Word, Outlook and Salesforce.
- Maintain and develop existing member participation through planned individual account support
- Troubleshoot the member pharmacy questions, concerns or reimbursement issues when it comes to the LTC Network and Medicare Part-D.
- Monitor and maintain accurate Member information.
- Utilize all MHA sales and marketing reports to support and articulate the value prop and review the opportunities for our member pharmacy providers.
- Manage and communicate the external sales and marketing activities developed by internal marketing, Trade Relations, senior management and clinical research.
