About the Job
We are seeking an Account Manager for a full-time opportunity located in Virginia Beach, VA. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated business professional. As an Account Manager, you're the core foundation of the company. You will be responsible for generating, building, and winning net new business from prospects across all verticals in the Hampton Roads territory.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving growth within your territory.
- Build a network of executive relationships across industry, community, business groups, and with key partners and customers to identify opportunities to increase sales.
- Monitor and take the necessary measures to ensure that you develop an adequate pipeline of opportunities.
- Build your pipeline and forecast potential new business.
- Focus on developing new business relationships and clients.
- Contact new business prospects daily.
- Conduct new client meetings weekly.
- Develop relationships through partners, community and business groups and referrals.
- Understanding of prospects needs and IT pain points and the ability to translate them into sales opportunities.
- Identify potential clients in the territory and complete appropriate research on the prospective client's business.
- Identify qualified opportunities, specifically around Managed Services.
- Capable of performing under pressure, be able to meet required deadlines, and be accountable for results.
