D2G Group is looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Outside Sales Account Representative to join our team. Overview of What You’ll Be Doing
In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for identifying new business leads, nurturing client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to develop targeted sales strategies. Key responsibilities include:
•Lead Generation: Identify and target potential clients in the education sector to drive new business.
•Market Research: Conduct in-depth research to understand trends, pain points, and competitor offerings within the education market.
•Manage Purchasing Co-ops and Procurement Platforms: Oversee registration, compliance, and bid processes for purchasing cooperatives like AEPA and BuyBoard.
•Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the education industry.
•Sales Strategy: Work with the marketing team to design effective, targeted sales strategies.
•Presentations and Demonstrations: Prepare and deliver impactful presentations to showcase our eCommerce solutions.
•Feedback and Insights: Gather client feedback to inform product development and shape marketing strategies.
•Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
•Help Shape the Business Development Function: Play a foundational role in establishing processes, strategies, and workflows for long-term growth.
What We’re Looking For
•2-4 years of account representative or sales experience
•Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets through effective lead generation and relationship building.
•Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the education sector, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
•Exceptional ability to communicate, negotiate, and build rapport.
•Proactive, with a drive to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
•Proficient in CRM software (ideally Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
