Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Representative to manage and grow an assigned book of business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inside sales and account management, with the ability to support the growth of assigned accounts, increase sales revenues, and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management & Growth:
- Manage and grow assigned accounts to increase sales revenues.
- Support the growth of assigned accounts through regular communication and strategic planning.
- Analyze sales data to identify opportunities and execute Campaign Agendas.
- Customer Engagement:
- Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, and terms.
- Recommend products based on customers' needs and interests.
- Provide ongoing support to clients after sales or contract signings.
- Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products and solicit orders.
- Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products.
- Sales Execution:
- Estimate or quote prices, credit, or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
- Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.
- Execute Campaign Agendas including budget reviews, rebate tracking, promotions, product selling and training, and new product roll-outs.
- Track open rates on campaigns and mass emails to measure effectiveness.
- Business Analysis:
- Review month-end buying account reports to identify opportunities by account and product.
- Analyze top and low performers to understand successes and expose additional opportunities.
- Support dealer and customer visits, and provide training and certifications as needed.
- New Account Onboarding:
- Introduce new accounts to Norman's offerings, providing initial training on products, sample demos, order entry, and website navigation.
- Conduct virtual meetings using Norman samples and key product displays.
- Competitive Analysis:
- Understand the competitive landscape and promote the Norman value proposition.
- Track and report on competitive promotions, product delays, strengths, and weaknesses.
Non-Essential Job Duties:
- Perform similar and incidental duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience in inside sales and account management.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media, and web-based apps.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic product knowledge and technical understanding of all Norman products.
- Detailed understanding of Norman's website and sales administration functions.
