THE ROLE:
As part of MMC's Health & Well-being Practice – a pillar of growth and strength at the agency – you will be part of a very exciting team delivering innovation for our clients! In this role as an Account Supervisor, you will serve as a brand business leader that is part of a strategic and collaborative integrated team that delivers scientific communications as well as creative and cutting-edge consumer programs for our healthcare client in the gastrointestinal space. This position plays a key role in overall account management, client relations, campaign development and execution, and works closely to oversee and mentor junior staff.
For this opportunity, your experience will help drive strategic planning, development, and execution for a biopharmaceutical in the GERD treatment landscape. This role provides a wide range of opportunities and touches nearly all facets of healthcare communications, including data/regulatory milestones, celebrity and influencer engagement, partnerships, media relations, digital oversight, creative execution, project management, strategic ideation, client leadership and much more.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Work with team leaders and integrated team to ensure that client goals are clearly set and met for each program element
- Participate in the development of consumer health campaign ideation, development and execution, data/regulatory milestone communication and annual brand planning
- Collaborate with agency partners on integrated consumer campaign
- Actively participate in client meetings and calls; serve as a key contact for the client on multiple projects
- Oversee/develop client agendas and emails, campaign materials, material development/support for data and regulatory milestones
- Facilitate materials review process for pharmaceutical regulatory/legal/medical review and work with broader team on implementing precedence and best practices
- Continually seek to evolve your knowledge of your specialty, client's business and competitors, vertical industry, media landscape, and emerging trends in consumer behavior
- Partner with project management team to maintain project timelines and ensure deadlines are met
- Collaborate with client finance team on program finances, team target hours, billability and profitability
- Manage and mentor a junior staff member
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor's in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
- 4-6 years of account/brand management experience in a PR agency setting
- 1+ years of supervisory/management experience
- Ability to lead and motivate a high performing team
- Experience working with high-science pharmaceutical accounts as well as branded consumer health campaigns; celebrity program experience preferred but not required
- Familiarity with relevant FDA regulations and industry guidelines a must
- Clear understanding of the Medical, Legal and Regulatory (MLR) review process of materials
- Proficiency with Veeva (or similar platform)
- Strong data communications experience
- Proven track record in client service, program execution, and client presentations
- Knowledge of healthcare communication industry's trends, resources, and diverse media
- Ability to plan strategically and devise work plans
- Budget management experience
- Ability to work cross functionally on diverse work teams
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills

The anticipated salary range for this position is ($75,000-$110,000). Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
