Accountant at Creative Financial Staffing

ABOUT THE COMPANY

• Our client is a leading non-profit organization looking to bring bring an Accountant onto the team.
• They have been around for over 100 years and are extremally stable with over $100M in their operation budgets + 50 programs.
• The role would be sitting out of Brooklyn NY

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTANT

• Preparing annual budgets for programs and working closely with program managers
• Preparing budget modifications
• Preparing monthly budget to actual, billing reports, and financial statements
• Support schedules and analysis for annual audit
• Year end reports
• General ledger entries
• Reconcile various grants
  

• Bachelor's in Accounting is preferred
• Not for profit / contract billing is a plus!
• Strong excel skills
• 2+ years of experience preferred
• Strong analytical interpersonal skills
