Job Responsibilities:
- Verification of vendor invoices against PO receipts.
- Enter daily accounts payables invoices into QuickBooks.
- Tracking of sales/use tax for monthly Sales &; Use tax filings.
- Monthly credit card reconciliations and expense posting in QuickBooks.
- Employee time-card tracking and job allocation processing.
- Process payroll in QuickBooks.
- Process weekly vendor payments.
- Daily cash reconciliation to bank, including resolution of discrepancies.
- Daily cash application in QuickBooks.
- Make weekly bank deposits as needed.
- Maintain account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts monthly.
- Will document and maintain accounting process manual for all accounting processes.
- Training will be available to qualified candidate for this position.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.
- Previous accounting and bookkeeping experience required.
- Familiar with QuickBooks and Excel is a must.
- Proficient documentation skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Willingness to solve problems and make suggestions for continuous improvement.
