As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our finance team. The Controller will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support informed decision-making.

Job Description:

Position: Accounting

Location: West Bend, WI

Responsibilities:

• Financial Leadership:

  • Provide financial leadership and collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.

  • Analyze financial data and trends to advise on potential risks and opportunities.

• Financial Reporting:

  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.

  • Present financial reports to executive leadership, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.

• Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable financial plans.

  • Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis to identify areas for improvement.

• Internal Controls:

  • Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct regular internal audits to identify and rectify financial discrepancies.

• Tax Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations, coordinating with external tax advisors as needed.

  • Optimize tax strategies to minimize the company's tax liability.

• Cash Flow Management:

  • Manage cash flow by forecasting cash needs and optimizing working capital.

  • Implement strategies to improve cash flow efficiency.

• Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.

• years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in financial modeling and analysis.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
