ACCOUNTANT - COST AND INVENTORY - MRINetwork Jobs

High growth opportunity with a highly profitable and energetic company growing and looking to expand its operations.  they need strong Accounting cost and inventory accountants to help manage their manufacturing facilities. 

Responsible for overseeing and managing the cost accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, inventory and cost reporting. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve overall efficiency. You need a strong background in cost accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the cost accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, inventory, variance analysis, and cost reporting
• Develop and implement cost accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive process improvements
• Provide financial analysis and support to senior management to facilitate decision-making
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 6-10 years of experience in cost accounting and financial analysis
• CPA or CMA certification is preferred
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and techniques
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proven track record of driving process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
