Accountant/HR - Careers Unlimited

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Accountant/Human Resources professional to join our team in Sioux Falls, SD. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and HR functions, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of payroll processing, including preparing and distributing payroll checks
• Oversee employee benefits administration and ensure compliance with company policies
• Perform month-end and year-end financial close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training of new employees
• Handle employee relations issues and provide support to management as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field
• CPA or PHR certification preferred
• 3+ years of experience in accounting and HR roles
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems and HR software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
