Everi, a leader in the Casino/Bingo Gaming industry, is looking for an Accountant IV to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring our monthly financial reporting processes are efficient, accurate, and compliant with all relevant standards. What Will You Be Doing?
- Handle GL account reconciliations, financial analysis, roll-forward, and related schedules.
- Work with teams to ensure accurate posting of transactions.
- Works in preparing journal entries and account reconciliations to meet month-end close schedule.
- Review daily transaction postings for accurate financial reporting.
- Reconcile sub-ledger transactions with vendors and customers.
- Review commission reports, statements, and check requests per contracts.
- Review contracts for proper accounting and reporting, especially in revenues and commissions.
- Analyze financial reports, resolve discrepancies, and ensure reporting deadlines are met.
- Assist with audits and provide financial information to other departments.
- Monitor and prepare entries for capitalized payroll transactions.
- Oversee accounting staff and cross-train as needed.
- Ensure production costs are properly allocated to COGS, expenses, and assets.
- Develop procedures to improve internal controls and efficiency.
- Prepare impairment analysis and submit census/survey data.
- Prepares and presents financial data and handles ad-hoc reports and projects as needed.
Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise for the job:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field required. Masters/CPA preferred.
• 8+ years’ experience in accounting.
• Exceptional knowledge of general accounting principles(GAAP), procedures, and standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to manage large volumes of data and analysis simultaneously.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel, with the ability to create, read and design complex spreadsheets.
• Microsoft D365 experience a huge plus!
• 8+ years’ experience in accounting.

The compensation for this role considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location at which the position may ultimately be filled. At Everi, it is not typical for all individuals to be hired at or near the end of the range; compensation decisions depend on each case’s facts and circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is$70,000 - $90,000 annually.
