Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000 per year. (DOE and state)

POSITION SUMMARY: Applies principles of accounting to process, record and ensure accuracy of financial information by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Is knowledgeable in and regularly performs day-to-day duties and responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk as assigned by the Financial Controller:
•Audits Daily Sales Journal entries and prepares Daily Bank & Adjustment Journal
•Tracks daily bank deposits, withdrawals, fees, and miscellaneous transactions
•Reviews paid-outs, comps, and discounts for compliance with company policy
•Audits property submitted invoices for accuracy prior to approval for payment
•Assists and audits property and support leaders' reimbursement and purchasing card transactions and documentation
•Invoices and collects approved accounts receivable transactions
•Provides feedback to property leaders on general accounting matters
•Assists the Controller with day-to-day reviews & approval, operations and management of the Accounting Team
•Reviews and Approves transactional submissions to Accounting in alignment to company policy
•Assist the Financial Controller with Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Month End Close procedures, and Internal controls
•Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts
•Performs duties in compliance with company procedures and accounting controls
•Investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
•Engages with property and support teams across the country; may require use of ZOOM or Google Meet
•Participate in a wide variety of special projects as directed.
•Perform other duties as assigned

•Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 2 to 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
•Must have a strong understanding of general accounting
•Knowledge of Accounting systems, Sage Intacct preferred
•Proficiency in MS Office and Excel, required.
•Good written and verbal communications.
•Good time management skills.
•Excellent attention to detail.
•Excellent organizational skills
•Works well in a team environment.
