THE ROLE:
Weather Shield Roofing is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our growing company. This position's primary responsibilities will entail processing the daily financial transactions for all business units. Additional responsibilities include assisting with month end closing, job costing, department reporting and audit support. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices, including accurate job and department costing.
- Maintain vendor and customer records.
- Post receivable payments to accounts, reconcile discrepancies.
- Manage receivable collections, including monitoring lien dates.
- Maintain inventory records.
- Maintain fixed asset records, including fleet vehicle records.
- Assist with month end closing, including reconciling accounts, accruals and journal entries.
- Compile and prepare routine reports for department support.
- Provide backup for other accounting/office functions.
- Ad hoc analysis when needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years Previous Accounting experience
- Bachelor's Degree: Accounting/Finance
- Ability to work well on your own and in a team environment.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word

- Salary Pay $55,000 or more based on experience
