Accountant - DSI Systems

As the Accountant, you will provide us with accurate measurable information on the financial position, liquidity, and cash flows, while ensuring we’re compliant with all tax regulations. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with accounting and a talent for spotting numerical mistakes.

*This is an in-office position that will report to our Urbandale, Iowa office location.
Schedule Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5 pm

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable; receiving payments, processing, verifying, and accurately reconciling invoices
• Accounts Receivable; verify and record transactions plus resolve account discrepancies
• Oversee, monitor, and evaluate day-to-day accounting activities, and address related issues
• Conduct research on discrepancies in accounts and reports
• Monthly reporting on accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform inventory analysis to optimize the level of inventory
• Assist with preparing month-end financial statements
• Consult with and provide assistance to the CFO and Controller as needed
• Comply with financial policies and regulations

Requirements

Experience

• Prior accounting experience with a proven track record

Computer Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel

Compensation

• Salary of $55,000 - $60,000
• Annual performance and pay reviews
