Key Responsibilities:
Month-End Close:
Lead and execute the month-end closing activities, including preparing and reviewing financial statements to ensure timely and accurate reporting.Journal Entries:
Prepare, review, and post journal entries to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately in line with financial reporting standards.Inventory Management:
Manage and reconcile inventory records by working closely with production and operations teams, ensuring precise reporting of inventory levels and valuation.General Ledger Accounting:
Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all debits and credits are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.Financial Reporting:
Assist in preparing key financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and other financial documents, ensuring completeness and accuracy.Advanced Excel Utilization:
Use advanced Excel functions, such as pivot tables and V-lookups, to analyze and interpret financial data to support decision-making processes.Account Reconciliation:
Perform regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, ensuring that financial records are accurate and discrepancies are resolved promptly.Process Improvement:
Identify and implement opportunities to enhance the efficiency of accounting processes, ensuring continuous improvement in financial reporting accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, V-lookups, and other data analysis tools.
- Accounting Expertise: Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, including debits, credits, and financial reporting.
- Inventory Management: Proven experience with inventory accounting in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
