Accounting Analyst - Controllership - Best Buy

As an Accounting Analyst for Services, Repair and Warranty Controllership, you'll be a key member of the controllership and operations (CAO) team supporting Geek Squad express replacement and factory warranty. You'll support the month end close process by gathering information from business partners, preparing journal entries, analyzing variances, issuing business reporting and performing account reconciliations. You'll also support financial and accounting process improvement and efficiencies.

This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you'll do

• Coordinate and support month-end close process including preparing and recording journal entries
• Analyze monthly financial results and prepare meaningful variance commentary
• Lead monthly review meetings with the Geek Squad express replacement team when needed to ensure expense is recognized accurately and on time
