Accounting Analyst - INSPYR Solutions

Title: Accounting Analyst 
Location: Deerfield Beach, FL (Hybrid) 
Duration: Direct Hire  
Compensation: 80,000 - 85,000 
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US

Job Description: 

• Participate in the month end close process which includes preparation of month end journal entries, account reconciliations, special reporting and researching any unusual items.
• Analyze monthly operating expenses; identify any irregularities and collaborate with the team to validate and/or resolve them.
• Responsible for the annual state filing project and assistance on quarterly Premium Tax filings.
• Responsible for initiating the process and recording monthly wires and check requests for our department.
• Responsible for all FIA-Fidelity Insurance Agency accounting needs and use of the Vertafore system.
• Responsible for CCMC mid-month and monthly analysis and entries.
• Responsible for Mike Albert Leasing monthly analysis and entry.
• Assist the Model Audit Rule team with control testing when needed.
• Participate in annual PWC or internal audits, including preparing/providing account information and answering auditors ' questions.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance controls, efficiency, and automation.
• Prepare ad hoc requests and participate in special projects

Skillset / Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. CPA a plus.
• Two to four years professional accounting experience.
• Must possess a thorough understanding of accounting with the ability to apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and regulatory reporting requirements (as needed).
• Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must possess excellent organizational skills and be detailed oriented; must have strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of associates.
• Must have the ability to multitask and prioritize and meet strict deadlines.
• Strict attention to detail with strong organization, time management and follow-up skills.
• Exhibits the core values: Communication, Consideration, Cooperation, Accountability, and Innovation. Must be a team player, willing to assist in any area to meet the goals of the department.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and must be able to research and follow-up timely on pending items.
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of management and partner with internal customers.
• Advanced proficiency in utilizing, Microsoft Suite of Products (i.e. Excel, Word, Sharepoint..) & General Ledger system.
• Proficiency in Premium Pro, Blackline, NetSuite, Essbase, & Vertafore/AMS360 a plus.
