Our client in the music industry is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their team on a contract basis.
Job Summary:
The Accounting Assistant will support the finance team in managing day-to-day accounting tasks. This role involves assisting with accounts payable and receivable, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in processing invoices and payments.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Help with monthly bank reconciliations and audits.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports.
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payments and inquiries.
- Assist in payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
- Perform data entry and manage accounting software.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in an accounting role preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software SAP
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Pay: $25/hr

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
