Description
- Prepares, assembles, tabulates and files simple or routine bills, vouchers, invoices, requisitions and purchase orders.
- Reconciles difficult accounts (e.g. billing and collection system, fixed asset system or bank reconciliation) to Famis.
- Assist in budget preparation.
- Maintains accounting records (e.g. accounts payable, grants accounting, CIP or billing) utilizing automated accounting system.
- Reviews, analyzes and interprets reports.
- Proofs schedules
- Performs less difficult reconciliations and comparisons of data.
- Posts journals and ledgers
- High school diploma
- One (1) year of recent clerical accounting experience; or business education which includes successful completion of an elementary accounting or bookkeeping course; or any combination of the experience and education previously stated for one year.
- Performs routine clerical accounting duties.
- Must be able to type 10- key and 40 wpm
- Must know and be able to use MS Office applications
- Monday- Friday
