Accounting Clerk - Construction at Arrow Staffing

Job Position: Accounting Clerk - Construction

Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730

Pay Rate: $22.00/hr.

Description: We are currently searching for an Accounting Clerk.

Candidates must have prior construction or subcontracting accounting experience.

General Tasks

• General filing (PO's, receiving paperwork, unpaid invoices, paid invoices, customer invoices)

• Prepare invoices for payment (match up paperwork, check pricing, sales taxes, verify GL accounts, obtain approval for payment)

• Data entry of all approved invoices into QuickBooks.

• Reconcile all bank statements

• Prepare month-end AP set-up worksheets

• Process credit card payments and transactions with specific vendors

• Communicate with vendors to resolve any discrepancies

• Assist with annual audit (pulling documentation, re-filing, etc.)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant accounts payable or accounts receivable work experience

• Proficiency in Excel and Word

• Must be detail-oriented, excellent communication and analytical skills

• Must be able to wear many hats and take on additional responsibilities as needed

• Construction or subcontracting experience is strongly preferred
