Accounting Clerk - Robert Half

Description Robert Half is currently seeking a meticulous Accounting Clerk to efficiently perform a range of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks for our clients in Federal Way, WA. The successful candidate will ensure the company's daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively. Responsibilities: + Maintain and update accounting records by performing activities such as reconciling bank statements, recording transactions, and processing invoices. + Assist with the preparation of basic financial reports on a regular basis. + Complete data entry tasks as well as other administrative duties like filing and the organizing of documents. + Support other staff members in performing related duties such as budget tracking or the preparation of financial reports. + Assist the accounting department in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to company accounting and financial guidelines. + Undertake special projects and provide support to the accounting team as needed. + Input, update, and manage financial data in the company's accounting system. Requirements + Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. + Previous experience as an Accounting Clerk preferred. + Strong proficiency with MS Excel and accounting software. + High attention to detail and accuracy. + Excellent data entry, numerical, and analytical skills. + Effective communication and organization skills. + Strong knowledge of commonly used accounting procedures and principles.
