About the Job
Vaco Richmond is recruiting for an Entry Level Accounting Clerk that has some previous experience with handling the day-to-day transactional Accounts Payable and or Accounts Receivable duties in a corporate setting.
This individual must be local to the Richmond, VA region.
Duties:Process vendor invoices electronically as well as maintain vendor and customer accounts.
Prepare and issue payments to vendors, reconcile invoices with purchase orders, and receive reports.
Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in preparing documents for audits, and provide the necessary information and supporting material to upper-level management.
Qualifications:Related bachelors degree or 1 year of relatable experience.
Attention to detail, and a strong understanding of accounting principles
Previous experience using an accounting ERP system in a corporate setting.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel

the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
