- Job Summary:
As an Accounting Clerk Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow as a business professional while assisting the Adtran accounting teams. Job Location: Adtran Headquarters - 901 Explorer Blvd., Huntsville, AL 35806
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist various teams in the accounting department with project tasks and clerical tasks such as document organization, scanning and electronic records maintenance.
• Work on special projects as needed to support month-end and quarter-end close.
• Complete analysis and other files to assist with month-end procedures.
• Take ownership of all assigned tasks and seek assistance as needed.
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
• Overall day-to-day team support.
Basic Qualifications:
• Be enrolled and pursuing an undergraduate degree in a business related major.
• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Strong analytical skills
• Be available to work part-time (15 to 20 hours per week).
