About the Job
Essential Responsibilities
1. Perform basic and routine accounting functions.Compare codes and numbers on similar and repetitive accounting documents, verify mathematical accuracy, identify discrepancies, and notify supervisor of discrepancies.
2. Handle miscellaneous clerical tasks as assigned.
3. Complete specific tasks assigned by manager.
4. Prep car deals for title clerk.
5. File and scan office paperwork.
6. Send Payoffs for Trades to lienholders.
7. Post factory invoices to accounting system.
8. Maintain and follow up on assigned schedules and incoming titles.
9. Assist Office Manager and Assistant Office Manager in preparation of financial statement data.
10. Replace accounting personnel in their absence.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None. May participate in or support project and process improvement teams.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); plus one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
