About the Company:

• CFS is partnering with a well-established company to identify an Accounting Clerk to join their team!

Responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk Position:

• Process invoices for accounts payable, prepare checks for weekly check run
• Process accounts receivable, make calls to customers with past due accounts weekly
• Answer phones and direct customer inquiries to appropriate personnel
• Cross-train and act as back-up for sales tax filings
• Prepare general ledger entries
• Reconcile credit card payments

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Minimum one year of experience in Accounts Payable for manufacturing
• Basic excel skills; knowledge of SYSPRO is a major plus!
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline- and detail-oriented

The Accounting Clerk role is fully onsite in South Bend, Indiana.
The salary range is $37,225 to $47,225.
