About the Job
- Accounting Associate will post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Track and follow up on open balances listed on accounts receivable reports
- Create and distribute customer invoices for weekly and monthly variable billing
- Process client contracts and initiate billing
- Assist with data entry for vendor charges and bills
- Reconcile data and maintain from various databases and spreadsheets
- Perform proper revenue recognition for recurring and one-time invoices
- As an Accounting Associate, you will assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
- Provide support for integration of new customers into accounting processes during acquisitions
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
- Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
- Support other accounting projects and assist with automation and process improvement efforts
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with Accounting concentration preferred
- 1+ years of professional finance/accounting experience
- Experience in QuickBooks or Sage Intacct (both would be ideal)
- Understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent organization abilities
- Driven, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
- Solid critical thinking skillset
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
