Accounting Coordinator
Report to: Controller
The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining a system to accurately account for all client, vendor, and regulatory agency invoices. Duties of the Accounting Coordinator include but not limited to the following tasks:
- Post all client, vendor, and regulatory agency invoices.
- Maintain an accurate listing of client, vendor, and regulatory agency invoices.
- Provide weekly project status reports to the Controller, Project Manager, and CEO.
- Maintain an accurate listing of all regulatory licenses and their renewal date.
- Notify all credit card holders of undocumented credit card receipts.
- Maintain an up-to-date workpaper on income and expense items as identified by the Controller.
Skills and Specifications:
- Attention to details.
- Deadline driven.
- Work independently.
- Good critical thinking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Qualifications:
- High school diploma plus five years of experience
- Degree in Accounting or relevant field plus two years of experience.
Salary
50,000 - 55,000 /year
