Job Title: Part-time Accounting/HR Specialist (Remote) – Local to Grand Rapids, MI
Pay: $25-32/hour
Schedule: 9 AM - 2 PM, Monday-Friday (flexible once trained), approximately 20 hours/week

CFS has partnered with a Michigan-based Healthcare Technology company specializing in the installation and maintenance of systems within care facilities across the U.S. Despite our client's small size—under 100 employees—they’re growing quickly and are known for their customer-focused culture, flexibility, and openness to new ideas. With most of our client's team working remotely, they maintain a laid-back environment with a casual dress code and low employee turnover.
Key Responsibilities:
Travel Arrangements (50%)
- Coordinate travel for team members, including airfare, hotel reservations, and rental cars.
- Work with project managers to ensure travel is tailored to jobsite needs.
- Track job-related travel logistics, ensuring smooth coordination for frequent travelers.
Employee Onboarding & HR Admin (10%)
- Manage onboarding for new hires, multi state.
- Input and track employee data, benefits, and PTO balances.
- Support payroll and HR documentation, particularly for new hires and benefits enrollment.
Project Accounting (5%)
- Manage purchase orders and invoices for project supplies.
- Track inventory and coordinate bulk ordering for projects.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in accounting and/or HR (payroll, QuickBooks, or ERP software preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Previous experience as an Office Manager, Bookkeeper, or Executive Assistant would be ideal.
- Experience in multi-state operations, payroll taxes, or project management is a plus.
