OVERVIEW
Merrick & Company is seeking a college or graduate school Accounting,
finance, or business student for a paid summer internship for Summer 2025 at
our Greenwood Village, Colorado office. Imagine working with an amazing team

The summer internship has a commitment of approximately mid-May through
mid-August 2025.
We will be accepting resumes for this opportunity from approximately September
- November 2024. Resumes will be reviewed as they are received. Interviews
will take place in the Fall/Winter. Offers will be extended in
Winter/Spring. Timeframe subject to change.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Merrick Intern Program will provide an undergraduate or graduate student
an opportunity to gain hands on experience in the functional areas of
accounting and finance. The intern will be exposed to a variety of tasks in
the areas of Accounts Payable, Payroll, Project Accounting, Project
Analysis, Consolidation/Reporting, and Cash Management.
The position requires the collaboration with other accounting professionals;
the ability to interface with engineers, project managers, and
management; the ability to follow schedules and make deadlines while working
independently; and strong written and oral communication skills. Our interns
work closely with departmental mentors to establish a strong understanding of
accounting in a business consulting environment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must be currently enrolled and entering junior year of undergraduate degree or
higher. Students enrolled in a master's degree program in accounting will be
considered.
Completion of introduction to accounting.
Basic knowledge of Excel.
Client projects for this position require U.S. Citizenship
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of intermediate accounting.
Local candidates are strongly preferred.
