Accounting Internship - IEW Construction Group

Are you a motivated and detail-oriented student eager to gain hands-on experience in accounting and accounts payable within the construction industry? IEW Construction Group is looking for an Accounting / AP Intern to join.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Human Resources or a related field
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of basic accounting principles
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Update employee database
• Gather payroll data
• Screen resumes
• Assist with HR-related reports.
• New hire onboarding
• Post journal entries
• Assist AP & Billing
• Support day-to-day admin duties
• Assist with employee benefits
• Team collaboration

Availability:

- Part-time during the school year

- Full-time during the summer months

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with Controller, Payroll Manager, Billings Manager, HR Director, and VP of Finance and Administration.

Note: This is an internship position, providing an opportunity for mentoring and hands-on experience in the field of accounting.
