Junior Accountant
REMOTE
MUST:
Experienced Accounts Administrator
2+ years of professional experience
Experience with FAR approved accounting system Procas
Working knowledge of different types of federal contracts
Familiar with bookkeeping
Strong analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel
Degree (BA or BS) in Business or Finance or Accounting
DUTIES:
Junior Accountant is responsible for reviewing and reconciling accounts, processing payments to external partners and maintaining updated records of invoices and receipts as well as processing payroll.
Processes payroll for W2 and 1099 s
Performs Data entry
Maintains financial accounts reconciliation
Assist with day-to-day accounting and monthly close process
Supports audits and tax functions
Processes payments to external partners through review and approval process
Maintains updated records of invoices and receipts
Supports indirect rate development
